Mike Zajac

Mike Zajac, PE, serves as the Vice President and Head of HSE, Risk & Quality at Norsk Hydro since August 2012, overseeing strategic direction for the company's Extrusion North America Business Unit, which includes 22 manufacturing sites and around 6,000 employees. Zajac's background encompasses roles such as Sr. Director of Quality & Management Systems, Director of Quality & Field Service Engineering, and Interim Vice President of Quality & Continuous Improvement. With robust experience in quality management and engineering across various industries, Zajac was previously the Business Development Manager for Automotive at Norsk Hydro and has also held management positions at Alcoa, Eaton Corporation, and Meridian Automotive Systems. Additionally, Zajac founded and owned Two Yolks, LLC, a highly-rated breakfast and lunch cafe, and served as an adjunct faculty member at Kalamazoo Valley Community College. Educational credentials include an MBA from Wake Forest University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University.
