Rob Wendt

Rob Wendt is an experienced engineering manager with a strong background in advanced product development and application engineering within the automotive sector. Currently serving as the Advanced Product Development Engineering Manager at Norsk Hydro since March 2018, Rob oversees product development processes across multiple plant locations. Prior roles include Senior Application Engineer at Sapa, where innovative solutions for aluminum conversion in automotive components were developed, and Founder and General Manager at Engineering Design Analysis Services, providing strategic advice to manufacturers. Rob's expertise spans new product development, systems thinking, process improvement, and customer relations. Additionally, Rob led engineering systems and process validation at DesignLine International and held a board position with the MSU AMP-EMBA Alumni Association. Rob holds an MBA from Michigan State University and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
