Sean McGaha

Sean McGaha is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project and process engineering, currently serving as Regional Project Manager and Sr. Process Engineer at Norsk Hydro since February 2019. At Norsk Hydro, Sean has successfully led the installation of an automated Inkjet system for waste reduction and developed a smart cooling calculator to enhance mechanical properties of profiles. Previously, Sean was the Special Projects Manager at Universal Alloy Corporation, where responsibilities included driving operational excellence and developing succession plans, in addition to serving as Process Engineer, focusing on manufacturing process design and development of a new 7XXX series alloy for Boeing. Sean began the professional journey as an undergraduate researcher at Georgia Institute of Technology, specializing in material deformation and fracture mechanics. Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
