Welka Morais

Welka Morais possesses extensive experience in mining operations and geology, currently serving as Gerente de Operações de Decapeamento de Mina at Norsk Hydro since August 2012, overseeing a workforce of over 300 employees and focusing on asset management, operational performance, and cost control. Previously held the position of Supervisora de Pesquisa e Exploração, managing the Bauxita Paragominas project and implementing quality programs. Welka's earlier experience includes roles such as Geóloga Pleno at Vale, where responsibilities included planning drilling programs and training geological teams, and Geólogo Jr. at LTW Geologia, contributing to feasibility studies for bauxite deposits.
