Jon Forbord

Jon Forbord has worked in various roles in the automation engineering field since 2008. In 2008, they worked as a Sommervikar at Smurfit Kappa Norpapp. In 2009, they were a Fast møtende varamedlem i styret i SiT Service at Studentsamskipnaden i Trondheim. In 2010, they were a System Engineer at MemfoACT AS. From 2011 to 2017, they were a Senior Course Instructor and Service Engineer at National Oilwell Varco. In 2017, they returned to Norsk Titanium as an Automation Engineer. In 2020, they began working as an Automation Engineer at OneCo in addition to their role at Norsk Titanium.

Jon Forbord obtained a Master degree in Engineering Cybernetics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 2002 and 2010. Additionally, they have been certified as an Industry 4.0 Certified professional by 4.0 Solutions in December 2021.
