Carsten Dybevig has a diverse work experience spanning various positions and industries. Starting in 1987, they worked as an Auditor at Deloitte & Touche until 1989. From 1989 to 1995, Dybevig held several roles at Norske Skog Sales, including Controller, Chief Accountant, and Senior Finance Expert. Carsten then served as the Mayor of Halden Municipality from 1995 to 2001. Following this, Dybevig became a Member of Parliament at the Norwegian Parliament from 2001 to 2004. Carsten then joined Norske Skog as a Corporate Advisor in 2004 and later became the Company Secretary. In 2006, Dybevig assumed the role of Finance Manager HQ activities and subsequently became the Vice President of Communication at Norske Skogindustrier ASA from 2010 to 2017. Currently, Dybevig is serving as the Director of Communication and Public Affairs at Norske Skog ASA since 2018.
Carsten Dybevig completed their education with a BSc in Accounting and Finance from The University of Tulsa in 1987. In 1988, they obtained a CPA certification in Accounting. Later, in 2006, Carsten earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Strategy and Leadership from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).

Norske Skogindustrier ASA is a Norway-based company engaged in the manufacture, distribution and sell of publication paper for newspapers, magazines, periodicals and advertising material. The Company’s activities are divided into two operating segments: Newsprint and Magazine Paper. The Newsprint segment is responsible for the manufacture and sale of paper used in newspapers, inserts and catalogues, as well as is further segregated into two geographical regions: newsprint Europe and newsprint outside of Europe. The Magazine Paper segment manufactures and distributes super calendered (SC), machine finished coated (MFC) and light weight coated (LWC) paper, which is used in magazines, catalogues and advertising materials. Additionally, the Company is involved in the real estate activities, purchase and resale of wood, as well as purchase and resale of energy to the group’s mills. It is a parent of Lysaker Invest AS, Nornews AS, Norske Skog Kraft AS, and nsiFocus AS, among others.
