Karl Thomas

Karl Thomas has a robust background in engineering and maintenance management, currently serving as Engineering Manager at CHH Woodproducts since February 2016. With extensive experience at Norske Skog since 2005, Karl has held roles including Maintenance Manager, overseeing mechanical workshops, shift crews, and maintenance budgets, as well as Roll Shop and Repairables Co-ordinator, responsible for planning roll repairs and managing rotable spares. Earlier experience includes a role as Maintenance Fitter at Contract Engineering Ltd from 1998 to 2000. Karl holds a Level 5 Business Management School Certificate and a Level 3 Post Graduate Certificate in Business from Waikato University, completed in 2013.
