Priit Liivak

Priit Liivak is an accomplished Chief Architect at Nortal since 2006, focusing on elevating engineering standards, exploring new technologies, and enhancing developer satisfaction. Also a Partner and Head of Engineering at Nortal, Liivak prioritizes the happiness of developers through challenge identification and technical support. In addition to engineering roles, Liivak co-hosts the Algorütm podcast, a leading Estonian developer podcast, and serves as a guest lecturer at the University of Tartu, sharing expertise on development processes and collaboration infrastructure. Prior experience includes participation on the Program Committee for prominent software conferences and a background in software architecture for various public and private sector projects. Liivak holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Informatics from the University of Tartu, obtained in 2008.
