Gustavo Ahrends

Gustavo Ahrends has a diverse work experience in the asset management and investment industry. Gustavo is currently a Co-Founder at PIPO Capital, an asset management company specializing in Growth Equity business in Brazil. Prior to that, they co-founded Milenio Capital, an asset management firm focused on the credit market, where they served as the Chief Strategy Officer. Gustavo also co-founded Norte Ventures, a venture capital investment club that invests in early-stage Brazilian companies with high-growth potential. Additionally, they were a co-founder at SOW.CAPITAL, an asset management firm focused on private credit assets.

Before their ventures in asset management, Gustavo held various positions at different companies. Gustavo served as a Board Member at MUXI, a position they held from January 2019 to November 2019. At DXA Investments, they were the Co-Founder and Head of Investor Relations from March 2012 to September 2019. Gustavo also served as a Board Member at Zee.Dog from June 2012 to 2018.

Prior to their roles in entrepreneurship, Gustavo worked as an Associate at VBI from February 2010 to February 2012. Gustavo also held positions at York Gestão as a Managing Director from September 2007 to February 2010, and at York Group as Marketing Director and Investor Relations from September 2005 to February 2010.

Gustavo Ahrends obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Ibmec between 2001 and 2005. Prior to that, their education history is not clarified, but they attended Colégio Ipiranga at some point.
