Joe Carlson

Joe Carlson is an experienced Electrical Engineer currently serving as an Electrical Engineer II at Nortech Systems, Inc. since June 2017. In this role, Joe designs schematics and PCB/PCBA for medical products using Altium Designer and collaborates with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and verify designs according to the IEC 60601 standard. Previously, Joe held the position of Electrical Engineer I, responsible for creating designs for medical devices, and completed an internship supporting electrical engineers in schematic design and hands-on troubleshooting. Joe holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of St. Thomas, obtained in May 2019.
