David Velasco

David Velasco serves as the Business Development Manager for North America at Nortek, a position held since January 2024. Previously, David held the role of Director of Commercial Training at General Oceans, focusing on developing training programs and assisting in sales operations for Strategic Robotic Systems. David's extensive career at Nortek began in 2013, where key accomplishments included leading new product development efforts and managing commercial product launches. Prior to Nortek, David contributed to SonTek, a Xylem Brand, in various leadership roles, including Product Line Manager and Regional Manager for Brazil. Educational foundations include a Master’s degree in Geology & Geophysics from Boston College and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Geology from Northeastern University. Additional professional development includes courses at MIT Sloan School of Management and UC San Diego Extended Studies.
