Jilles Valk

Jilles Valk is a Software Engineer with extensive experience in building applications and working with various technologies. Currently employed at Nortek since November 2021, Jilles focuses on developing WPF applications, .NET APIs, and CI/CD pipelines, while also gaining expertise in Docker containers and PostgreSQL databases. Prior experience includes a role at Stater N.V. from February 2020 to November 2021, where Jilles specialized in SQL scripting, front-end development in Uniface, and .NET API development. Jilles began the software engineering career at Sogyo from September 2019 to February 2020, transitioning from a Physics graduate to a junior Software Engineer through projects in C#, Python, and Haskell. Jilles holds a Master's degree in Natuurkunde from the University of Strathclyde, completed in 2019.
