Jared Barton

Jared Barton is a seasoned sports producer and broadcaster with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as a Sports Producer at KDKA-TV | CBS Pittsburgh since June 2017, Jared oversees multiple sportscasts and special programming related to the Pittsburgh Steelers. In November 2023, Jared began duties as a Play-by-Play Broadcaster for the WPIAL High School Football Championships. Additional roles include providing play-by-play commentary and public address announcing for North Allegheny School District, Carnegie Mellon University, and Chatham University, among others. Jared’s skill set also includes producing and broadcasting for PAC Sports Network and various television sports broadcasts, alongside previous experience as a news anchor and sports broadcaster at WJPA Radio. Jared holds a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
