Bruce Young has extensive experience in environmental education, serving in various roles such as Affiliate Relations Specialist at NAAEE and At-Large Director at VAEE. Bruce also has experience in customer service, teaching, and costume design from positions at Green Valley Grill, UNC Greensboro, and East Carolina University. Bruce holds a B.A. in Elementary Education and Teaching and a BFA in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology.

For more than five decades, NAAEE has been a leader in promoting excellence in environmental education throughout North America. It is the only national membership organization dedicated to strengthening the field of environmental education and increasing the visibility and effectiveness of the profession.
