Chris Nicol is an accomplished Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in developing innovative educational technologies. Currently working at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has contributed to the design and development of hardware and firmware for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Prior experience includes positions as an Electronics Contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, where electronics design and repair for educational devices were key responsibilities, and as an Electronics Engineer at Grindcom, focusing on control systems for forestry harvesters. Additional experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.

For more than five decades, NAAEE has been a leader in promoting excellence in environmental education throughout North America. It is the only national membership organization dedicated to strengthening the field of environmental education and increasing the visibility and effectiveness of the profession.
