Ron Ottenbacher is president of Sammons® Corporate Markets Group, a business division of Midland National® Life Insurance Company and North American Company for Life and Health Insurance®
As president of Sammons Corporate Markets, Ron is chiefly responsible for growing the shareholder value of Sammons Financial Group and Corporate Markets, a unit dedicated to bringing innovative solutions tailored to customers’ needs.
Ron joined Sammons Financial Group in 2003. Prior to his position at the organization, Ron ran the Bank-Owner Life Insurance business at Clarica Life Insurance Company in Fargo, North Dakota. He has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Ron is a member of the Iowa Bar Association. He is a Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, and has achieved the Fellow, Life Management Institute designation. Ron holds a Bachelor of Science in business and a Juris Doctor from Drake University Law School.
