Amy Klagholz

Amy Klagholz is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in external communications, particularly within the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) since September 2012. Currently serving as Director of External Communications, Klagholz manages critical initiatives that align with NERC's mission of reliability and security. Previous roles at NERC include Communications Coordinator, Website Content Specialist, Technical Publications Assistant, and Technical Writer, contributing to numerous successful communications projects across North America. In addition to this experience, Klagholz worked as a Freelance Editor and Writer at Virtual Business Solutions, honing skills in copy editing and content creation. Early career highlights include writing for District, SCAD Student Media, and an internship with South Magazine, which garnered awards for its editorial team. Klagholz holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Writing from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
