Alicia Love

Alicia Love serves as the Corporate Secretary and Corporate Governance Counsel at FCNB since July 2017, providing senior legal counsel in the General Counsel and Securities Divisions, focusing on regulatory matters in financial and consumer services. Additionally, Alicia is a committee member for the NASAA Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Board Level Committee, contributing to DEI training and resource development. Prior experience includes roles as Immigration Counsel and Contracts Manager at J.D. Irving, Limited, where responsibilities encompassed cross-border travel facilitation and legal advice on immigration. Alicia's legal career began as an Associate Lawyer at Stewart McKelvey, with a focus on commercial law, and has roots as a legal assistant and law student. Educational credentials include an LLB from the University of New Brunswick and various certificates from York University - Osgoode Hall Law School in public procurement and Indigenous law.
