Eric Muehlbauer

Eric Muehlbauer serves as the Executive Director and CEO of the North American Spine Society since September 1994, leading an organization that unites professionals in the spine field, including spine surgeons and rehabilitation specialists, while fostering innovation in medical ethics and international collaboration. Prior to this role, Eric held the position of Assistant Director for the American Society for Hospital Engineering at the American Hospital Association from 1988 to 1994, and worked as on-air talent at WJOL in 1985-1986. Eric's educational background includes a Master's of Jurisprudence in Health Law from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, an Executive Education degree in Non-profit Management from Harvard Business School, and a BA in International Relations and Political Science from Knox College.
