Jeff Karzen is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in publication management and writing. As the Assistant Director of Communications & Publications at the North American Spine Society since 2011, Jeff has overseen the production of the bimonthly magazine SpineLine and managed social media platforms for the organization. Previous roles include Senior Manager of Publications and Communications Coordinator at various organizations, where Jeff honed skills in editing, design, and strategic communication. In addition to a strong background in journalism, demonstrated through freelance writing for Milwaukee Magazine and roles at the Battle Creek Enquirer, Jeff is also a published author, with recent works including a book on high school basketball in Peoria, IL, and a narrative on small-town baseball success. Jeff holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Michigan State University.
