Scott Kreiner

Scott Kreiner, MD, serves as the Director of Interventional Spine & Sports Medicine at Barrow Brain and Spine since February 2018, where responsibilities include leading non-surgical spine and sports medicine initiatives following the merger with Barrow Brain and Spine. Concurrently, Kreiner holds the position of Interventional Spine Physician at Barrow Neurological Institute and serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix. Active in professional organizations, Kreiner is the Chairman of the Appropriate Use Criteria Committee and a member of the Standards Committee for the International Spine Intervention Society, while also holding the presidency and various leadership roles within the North American Spine Society. Kreiner's background includes 18 years as a physician and partner at Ahwatukee Sports & Spine and a solid academic foundation with an MD from the University of Arizona College of Medicine and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona.
