Suzanne Savage, CMP, CAE has extensive work experience in the field of administration and governance. Suzanne began their career in 1988 as a Travel Coordinator with Tzell Continental Capers Travel Center, Inc., where they worked until 2000. In 2000, they joined the North American Veterinary Community (NAVC) as Vice President of Governance and Administration, holding this position until present. Additionally, they held the role of Sr. Senior Director of Governance and Executive Office Management at the North American Veterinary Community.

Suzanne Savage, CMP, CAE obtained their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business, where they studied from 2015 to 2018. In addition to their undergraduate education, Suzanne has pursued various certifications to enhance their professional skills. Suzanne obtained the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification from the Events Industry Council in January 2006 and the Certified Association Executive (CAE) certification from ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership in January 2020. Furthermore, they have earned several certificates related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Suzanne received the Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging certificate from LinkedIn in February 2021, followed by the Unconscious Bias certificate from the same institution in March 2021. Most recently, in June 2023, they obtained the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education.
