Michael Lowe

Michael Lowe is a Trustee at North Bay Regional Health Centre. Michael has held this position since April 2020.

Prior to their current role, Michael was the Controller/Chief Financial Officer at The Sisters of St. Joseph of Sault Ste. Marie from August 1991 to April 2020. Michael was responsible for the financial management of the organization and oversaw all aspects of their accounting and financial reporting.

Before that, they worked as a Project Auditor at the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing from June 1987 to January 1988. In this role, they were responsible for auditing municipal projects to ensure compliance with provincial regulations.

Michael began their career as a Staff Accountant at Clarkson Gordon (now Ernst & Young LLP) from September 1984 to June 1987. In this role, they were responsible for preparing financial statements and tax returns for clients.

Michael Lowe attended the University of Ottawa for their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance. Michael also attended high school at Ecole secondaire Algonquin.
