Quality Coordinator -clinical Services at North Bay Regional Health Centre

Parker Melissa has extensive experience in nursing and education, currently serving as a Quality Coordinator in Clinical Services and holding multiple roles at North Bay Regional Health Centre since February 2007, including Operating Room Nurse and Clinical Nurse Educator. In addition, Parker has been a Professor in the Collaborative Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) program at Canadore College since August 2017, focusing on the design, delivery, and evaluation of nursing education aligned with College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) competencies and Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing (CASN) standards. Parker's previous role at North Bay Regional Health Centre included serving as the Clinical Nurse Educator for the Operating Room and Pre-Admission Clinic. Educational qualifications encompass a Master's degree in Nursing Science from the University of Ottawa, perioperative nursing certification from Cambrian College, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Nursing Science and Biology from Nipissing University, along with a diploma in Biotechnology from Canadore College.
