Jessica Frizell

Jessica Frizell has a diverse work experience. Jessica started their career as a Special Projects Coordinator at The Robert Toigo Foundation in 2007, where they handled project management, marketing, event planning, and budget planning. Jessica then worked as a PR Associate at One Block Off the Grid from 2009 to 2010, securing media coverage and blogging about the solar industry. In 2011, they were an MBA Intern at BlackRock, assisting with institutional marketing projects. Jessica later joined Citi as a Program Manager, Community Development, from 2012 to 2014, where they worked with nonprofit organizations and engaged in community volunteerism. From 2014 to 2016, they owned and operated Oakleaf Floral Design, showcasing their floral designs and managing logistics for special events. Currently, they serve as the Director of Operations at North Berkeley Imports, a position they have held since December 2020. Their responsibilities include overseeing operations and ensuring efficient business processes.

Jessica Frizell obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Emory University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Later, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Marketing and Social Enterprise from the University of California, Davis - Graduate School of Management, completing the program from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, in 2011, they participated in a MBA Exchange program at HEC Paris, focusing on Marketing.
