Chris Baucom

Chris Baucom has extensive experience in media production and public relations, currently serving as the Director of 100 Strong Productions at the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners since March 2012, where responsibilities include film and video content strategy, production oversight, and conceptualization of branding campaigns. Prior roles at the Association include Digital Media Director and Associate Director of Public Relations, focusing on video production and digital assets management. Chris also founded A New Light Photography and Route 12 Productions, specializing in photography and videography for various clients, including businesses and non-profits. Earlier experience includes a Public Relations & Media Specialist role at Dare County Government and a teaching position in English and Journalism at Catawba County Schools. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications/Journalism from Appalachian State University.
