Matthew Howard

Matthew Howard has extensive experience in financial management within the education sector, currently serving as the Business Manager for the North Carolina Association of Educators since June 2020. Prior roles include Director of Fiscal Services at Trinity Area School District and Assistant to the Superintendent for Finance and Operations at Bethel Park School District, where Matthew managed an operating budget of $83 million. Earlier positions include Business Manager for West Jefferson Hills School District and Ringgold School District, focusing on budgets, finances, and operations, as well as serving as Senior Accountant at Hosack Specht Muetzel & Wood LLP, overseeing audit teams and tax preparations. Matthew holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Saint Vincent College.
