Greg Monty

Greg Monty serves as a member of the Board of Advisors at Magna Imperio Systems Corp since August 2015, leveraging technical expertise and university connections to support the organization. As Director of the Center for Energy Research and Technology at North Carolina A&T State University since September 2015, Monty focuses on advancements in the energy sector, including smart cities and renewable energy. Previous roles include Senior Research Engineer at Bio-Cellular Design Aeronautics, where Monty designed eco-friendly drones, and a Senior Consultant position at ImagineSolar, emphasizing strategic planning and solar asset transfer. Monty’s extensive experience includes leadership at Underwriter's Laboratories in various capacities, including Director and Senior Research Engineer, and contributions to nanotechnology standards. Monty holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BSEE from Purdue University.
