Nicole Burwell

Nicole Burwell, Ph.D., PA-C, DFAAPA, serves as the Department Chair and Founding Program Director at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University since March 2023. Burwell has held prominent positions including President of the Physician Assistant Education Association from January 2024 to January 2025 and Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine from June 2017 to February 2023. Additional roles include Director of Pre-Clerkship Education at Stanford and PAEA Director At Large from January 2020 to January 2023.
