Sara A. Griffith

Sara A. Griffith has worked in the nursing field since 2000, when they began as a Registered Nurse at Vidant Health. In 2002, they moved to WakeMed, also as a Registered Nurse. In 2014, they joined the North Carolina Board of Nursing as a Regulation Consultant II and was later promoted to Chief Nursing Officer.

Sara A. Griffith attended East Carolina University from 1995 to 2000, where they earned a BSN in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Sara A. then returned to East Carolina University to pursue their MSN Nursing Education, which they completed in 2008. Sara A. is currently in the process of obtaining their PhD Nursing from East Carolina University, which they expect to complete in 2021.
