Ivana Hanson

Reach Collaborative Coordinator/adult Learner Specialist at North Carolina Community College System

Ivana Hanson is an experienced educational professional with a significant background in adult education and career pathways. Currently, Ivana serves as the REACH Collaborative Coordinator and Adult Learner Specialist for the North Carolina Community College System, a position held since November 2021. Prior to this role, Ivana worked as the Career Pathways and Transition Coordinator and Director of College and Career Readiness at Nash Community College, contributing to numerous grant writing and training initiatives. Ivana's career also includes positions as an English Language/Civics Grant Coordinator and Continuing Education Instructor, Tutor Trainer and Coordinator for Twin Counties Literacy Council, and various teaching roles at the K-12 level. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, Ivana holds a Master's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from American University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science/International Relations from Tulane University.
