Claire Mufalo, MBA, MHA, CFE, CICA, is an accomplished audit professional with extensive experience in internal auditing and financial oversight. Currently serving as the Director of Internal Audit at the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources since July 2021, Claire has held various auditing roles, including Auditor at the NCDOT Office of Inspector General and Senior Internal Auditor for the City of Durham. Prior experience includes positions as an Internal Auditor at North Carolina Central University and as a Business Service Coordinator at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Claire holds an MBA from Pfeiffer University and a BBA in Finance from North Carolina Central University.
