Joe Johnson

Joe Johnson possesses extensive experience in communication and media, currently serving as an Information and Communication Specialist for the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources since October 2019. Johnson also operates as the Owner of Capital Correspondence, a role held since July 1994. Previously, from August 2009 to October 2019, Johnson worked as a Content Producer at The Herald-Sun, where reporting focused on current events in Orange and Chatham counties and utilized various social media platforms for dissemination. Johnson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from North Carolina State University between 1988 and 1993.
