Graphic Designer / Exhibit Tech With Historic Sites at North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources

Stacey Montebello is a graphic designer and exhibit technician with extensive experience in the natural and cultural sectors, currently employed by the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources since June 2019. Montebello operates as an independent business owner through MONTE-BELLO Freelance Design, engaging in various design and multimedia projects, including work for Benedict College and the Richland Public Library. As an adjunct digital art professor at Benedict College from August 2018 to December 2020, Montebello taught courses in digital illustration and graphic arts. Prior experience includes roles as a graphic artist for the S.C. Department of Health & Environmental Control, exhibit designer at EdVenture Children's Museum, and contributions to the Smithsonian Institution's Office of Exhibits Central. Montebello holds a Master of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art.
