Sara Lalk

Sara Lalk currently serves as the Forest Health Research Operations Manager for the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services since May 2022 and is also a Graduate Research Assistant at Clemson University, focusing on invasive species research. Previous experience includes a role as Director for the Health and Human Services Committee in Clemson University Graduate Student Government, as well as positions at USDA APHIS and the Missouri Department of Conservation, where efforts centered on invasive species management and forest health monitoring. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with an emphasis on Forest Resource Management from the University of Missouri-Columbia and ongoing doctoral studies in Forest Management at Clemson University.
