Nitin Krishnan has served as the Chief Data Scientist at the North Carolina Department of Commerce since February 2021. Prior to this, they pursued their Economics Ph.D. at the University of Pennsylvania, beginning in 2013 and expected to complete in 2023.
Nitin Krishnan completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Nitin attended the university from 2007 to 2011.
