Dawne Pittman

Dawne Pittman is an experienced professional with a diverse background in insurance regulation and education. Currently serving as an Insurance Regulatory Analyst I at the North Carolina Department of Insurance since June 2022, Dawne previously held the role of Communications Specialist at the same department, processing and approving various insurance licenses. Additionally, Dawne has been the Foster Coordinator at SAFE Haven for Cats since July 2018, facilitating communication between fosters and the shelter while managing data tracking. Prior roles include serving as a Special Education Teacher's Assistant in the Wake County Public School System, where Dawne received accolades as TA of the Year in 2016 and 2017, and as a Teacher Assistant at Durant Road Elementary School. Dawne holds an Associate's degree in Accounting and Finance from Johnston Community College and is currently pursuing an AINS certification in Insurance from TheInstitute.
