Farrah Raja

Assistant Attorney General, Health Service/human Services/medical Facilities Sections at NC Department of Justice

Farrah Raja is an experienced attorney currently serving as an Assistant Attorney General in the Health Service/Human Services/Medical Facilities Sections with the NC Department of Justice since January 2021, after previously holding the position of Associate Attorney in the Health Service Section. Prior experience includes serving as an Associate Attorney at Hedrick Gardner Kincheloe & Garofalo LLP from 2018 to 2020, and working as a Legal Extern in various organizations, including IQVIA and Duke University Health System, where Farrah focused on drafting and negotiating contracts. Farrah gained valuable litigation experience during internships at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the North Carolina Court of Appeals, as well as conducting significant research at the University of North Carolina School of Law. Farrah holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of North Carolina School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
