Grace R. Linthicum

Grace R. Linthicum is an experienced attorney currently serving as an Assistant Attorney General - Attorney III at the North Carolina Department of Justice since April 2018. In this role, Grace represents the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services across several divisions, providing comprehensive legal services and defending civil actions in various courts. Previous positions include Assistant Attorney General - Attorney II, where Grace defended personnel claims and provided legal support to the North Carolina Industrial Commission. Prior to joining the Department of Justice, Grace worked at Oxner + Permar, PLLC, advocating for injured employees in Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Disability cases. Grace holds a Juris Doctor from Charlotte School of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Campbell University, and is currently pursuing a Master of Healthcare Administration at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
