Daniel Simon

Daniel Simon is a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist with extensive experience at North Carolina Eye, Ear, Nose & Throat since October 2009, where roles have included Division Chief of the Department of Ophthalmology, Treasurer of the Board of Trustees, and Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology. Additionally, Daniel serves as Divisional Head at North Carolina Specialty Hospital and has participated in advisory roles for athenahealth. Prior experience includes work as an Ophthalmologist at Mecklenburg Eye Associates, contribution to Pearls in Ophthalmology, and residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School, where Daniel was Chief Resident. Daniel's medical education includes a Doctor of Medicine from State University of New York Downstate Health Sciences University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from SUNY Geneseo.
