North Carolina FC Youth
Jesus David Medina has extensive experience in youth soccer coaching, currently serving as the U11-U12 Girls Classic Director at North Carolina FC Youth and as an Academy Coach with North Carolina Courage since May 2023. Previously, Medina worked with New York Red Bulls from August 2017 to July 2022 in roles such as Academy Youth Assistant Scout, RDS Pre Academy Coach, and Youth Program Coach. Earlier in a sports career, Medina was an athlete with Jaiba Brava from August 2007 to December 2012. Educated at The University of Texas at El Paso, Medina earned a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from January 2013 to December 2016.
North Carolina FC Youth
North Carolina FC Youth (NCFC Youth) is a non-profit youth soccer organization home to more than 13,500 players and their families each year. As part of our operation, NCFC Youth employs approximately 60 full-time staff, hires 200+ seasonal coaches, and manages more than 1,000 volunteer coaches to support year-round programming through seasonal league play, camps, and tournaments. In collaboration with the professional North Carolina Football Club, NCFC Youth is the largest youth-to-professional club in the country. Since 1974, we have been living our mission of providing positive, high quality soccer opportunities at all levels of play for youth and their families and serving as a valuable community partner.
