Frank Fitzgerald is currently the Vice President of Operations for North Carolina Football Club and North Carolina Courage. Frank is responsible for game day operations, including facilities, security, fan zone, concessions, ushers, premium areas, and on-field activities. In the past, Frank has held various positions within Cary Academy as a soccer coach and has an overall record of 109-131-11. Frank has also served as Head Coach for North Carolina FC Youth and as a North Carolina ODP Soccer Staff Coach for US Youth Soccer. Additionally, Frank has experience in leadership roles at Chatham Soccer League, United States Soccer Federation, and BroadPoint, Inc. Frank holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Duke University, a Master of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, and a Master of Science in Sport Management from Western Carolina University.

North Carolina Football Club is comprised of two professional soccer teams: North Carolina FC and North Carolina Courage. Our star symbolizes the unity between both teams and the long-term vision for soccer in North Carolina. On December 6, 2016, team owner Steve Malik ushered in The New State of Soccer by announcing North Carolina Football Club and rebanding our men's team (formerly Carolina RailHawks) to North Carolina FC. History was made yet again on January 9, 2017 when North Carolina Football Club announced it had acquired the rights to National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) 2016 Champion Western New York Flash and renamed the team North Carolina Courage. WHO WE ARE: North Carolina FC, our men's professional team, plays in the United Soccer League (USL). North Carolina Courage, our women's professional team, plays in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). All home games are held at WakeMed Soccer Park. The team is owned by local entrepreneur Steve Malik.
