Jake Williams has a diverse work experience in the sports industry. Jake is currently working as the Director of Corporate Partnerships at the North Carolina Football Club. Prior to this role, they served as an Account Manager at Opendorse for one year. Jake also worked as a Business Development Manager at Moxē from 2019 to 2020.

Before Moxē, Jake had a long tenure at Learfield IMG College, where they held multiple positions. Jake initially started as an Account Executive in 2013 and worked their way up to become the Manager of Partnership Marketing from 2016 to 2018. After this role, they resumed their position as an Account Executive until 2019.

Jake's early career included a role as an Account Executive at the Florida Panthers from 2012 to 2013. Overall, Jake has extensive experience in sales, account management, business development, and partnership marketing in the sports industry.

Jake Williams obtained a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management from the University of Florida from 2008 to 2012.

On December 6, 2016, team owner Steve Malik ushered in The New State of Soccer by announcing North Carolina Football Club and rebanding our men's team (formerly Carolina RailHawks) to North Carolina FC. History was made yet again on January 9, 2017 when North Carolina Football Club announced it had acquired the rights to National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) 2016 Champion Western New York Flash and renamed the team North Carolina Courage. WHO WE ARE: North Carolina FC, our men's professional team, plays in the United Soccer League (USL). North Carolina Courage, our women's professional team, plays in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). All home games are held at WakeMed Soccer Park. The team is owned by local entrepreneur Steve Malik.
