Angela Owens

Angela Owens is an Underwriting Assistant at the North Carolina Joint Underwriting Association and North Carolina Insurance Underwriting Association since October 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Student Intern at The Hunger and Health Coalition from January to April 2022, where responsibilities involved distributing food, medicine, and firewood to vulnerable populations. Additional work experience includes positions as a Fresh Foods Clerk at Harris Teeter from September 2020 to June 2021 and as a Food Service Worker at McAllister's Deli from September 2019 to March 2020. Angela Owens holds a degree in Public Health with a focus on Non-Profit Organizations from Appalachian State University, completed in 2022, and is a graduate of Garner High School, finishing in 2018.
