Beth Smith

Beth Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and board governance across various organizations. Currently, Beth serves as a Board Member and Limited Partner at RTP Angel Fund, which focuses on investing in early-stage startups with significant growth potential. Additionally, Beth holds the position of Chair of the Finance & Audit Committee at Charity Navigator, the leading independent nonprofit evaluator, and is a key member of the Board of the NC State Engineering Foundation, actively engaging with alumni and supporting the College of Engineering. Previous roles include Co-Chair of the Executive Women's Roundtable at the National Association of Female Executives and numerous leadership positions at IBM, culminating in General Manager roles within various divisions, including IBM Watson AI. Beth holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University.
