North Carolina Symphony
Annie Valente is a Suzuki Violin Specialist at The Montessori School of Raleigh since March 2023 and serves as Adjunct Violin Faculty at Meredith College since September 2017, where involvement includes teaching in the Community School of Music's Suzuki Strings Program. Since May 2007, Annie has operated the Annie Valente Violin Studio, providing personalized weekly violin lessons to students aged three and up. Annie Valente has extensive performance experience as a Sub Violinist with the North Carolina Symphony since February 2012 and previously with the North Carolina Opera, Omaha Symphony, and Lincoln Symphony Orchestra. Educationally, Annie Valente holds a Master's degree in Violin Performance from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Violin Performance from Ithaca College.

North Carolina Symphony
The North Carolina Symphony is a full-time, professional orchestra with its home in Raleigh, North Carolina's spectacular Meymandi Concert Hall. The symphony performs about 175 concerts a year in the Triangle and greater North Carolina.
