North Carolina Symphony
Jason Spencer is the current Director of Education at the North Carolina Symphony. Prior to their current position, Jason held the role of General Manager at American Youth Philharmonic Orchestras from September 2016 to September 2018. Jason has also worked with Lexington Philharmonic as their Operations & Education Associate Manager from July 2014 to August 2016 and Production & Artist Services Intern with UMS (University Musical Society) from September 2011 to May 2013.
Jason Spencer has a Master of Music from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Music from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Jason specializes in clarinet performance.
Their manager is Donald Tippett, VP of Orchestra Operations. They are on a team with Jessica Kunttu - Assistant Librarian, Martin Sher - Artistic Advisor, and Bo Osborne - Production Manager.
North Carolina Symphony
The North Carolina Symphony is a full-time, professional orchestra with its home in Raleigh, North Carolina's spectacular Meymandi Concert Hall. The symphony performs about 175 concerts a year in the Triangle and greater North Carolina.
