North Carolina Symphony
Rob Schiller is an experienced finance and administration professional with a strong background in the arts sector. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President for Finance, Administration & CFO at the North Carolina Symphony since September 2004, Rob previously held roles as Vice President for Finance and Administration & CFO and Acting Vice President for Philanthropy in the same organization. Prior experience includes the position of Manager of Budget and Finance at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (2000-2004) and Director of Operations at Penny Wise Office Products (1998-2000). Earlier in the career, Rob worked at the Choral Arts Society of Washington, holding the titles of Deputy Director and Director of Public Relations and Marketing, and served as Membership Coordinator for the American Arts Alliance. Educational qualifications include a Master of General Administration with a focus on Finance from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor of Music in Arts Management from James Madison University.
North Carolina Symphony
The North Carolina Symphony is a full-time, professional orchestra with its home in Raleigh, North Carolina's spectacular Meymandi Concert Hall. The symphony performs about 175 concerts a year in the Triangle and greater North Carolina.
