Bert Wartski

Bert Wartski has extensive teaching experience in the field of biology, currently serving as the AP Biology Course Lead, Anatomy/Physiology, and Biology Teacher at North Carolina Virtual Public Schools since August 2013, where online AP Biology labs were developed. Concurrently, Bert teaches as the primary Biology Teacher at Northern High School, starting in July 2014, instructing AP Biology, Anatomy/Physiology, and Biology. Previous roles include Curriculum Developer at the National Network of Digital Schools and various teaching positions in reputable schools such as Chapel Hill Carrboro City Schools and Long Beach, California. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts in Teaching, both in Animal Science and Science Education from Boston University and the University of New Hampshire.
