Brett Williams

Brett Williams is an accomplished professional in the fields of animal care and entertainment, currently serving as an Ambassador Animal Specialist at North Carolina Zoo since May 2023. With nearly 15 years of experience in theatre arts and stand-up comedy, Brett aims to educate the public about animals in an engaging manner. Previous roles include Ambassador Animal Supervisor at Riverbanks Zoo & Garden and Educator at North Carolina Zoo, complemented by extensive volunteer work at Duke Lemur Center and Carolina Tiger Rescue. Brett holds a Master's degree in Biology and a Bachelor's degree in Zoology from North Carolina State University, where a strong academic background supports the application of expertise in animal husbandry and public engagement.
